Living Experientially and Consciously Through an Artistic Lens
Just as much as I’m starstruck with the world and all the beauty it contains, I am proud of my own origins and love my country immensely. And I’m not here to tell you another story of how I quit my job to travel the world. Because frankly, I never had a “typical” one to begin with.
So, what would you normally find here, you ask? I suppose scribbles on life and experiences – as I gulp it one day at a time; things that make my soul flutter and everything that brings me happiness – a large part of which includes travel. For I do hope in some way, you’ll find your truth and yourself through it all. And it helps you “live your own extraordinary tale”.

One summer evening, deep in the Gharwal Mountains of the Himalayas, I first heard an account of a friend who completed a Vipassana course or a 10-day Silent Meditation Retreat.

“You know what? You’re going to perform for my café!” exclaimed Vince in a very peculiar yet memorable introduction. I sat perplexed with a glass of Toddy in hand, in

Entangled in my own thoughts, I gazed out of the car into the gloomy skies and the desolate valleys of Mizoram. Wandering from one thought to another, a memory of

A day of wandering around pretty streets in Pondicherry.
A friend recently told me that, "Pre, you`re just stuck in this city. The minute you step out and cross that Toll Booth is when you truly glow".
True enough, this so called "surprise trip" to Pondicherry was all about that glow, my love for living slow and being surrounded by artistic things.
And this day was just that! There`s something about wandering around the streets of the French Town in the hot afternoon sun, slow, without knowing what you might find. Lovely french villas, some restored, some intact in their original glory. Roads covered by the canopy of trees and resting below them to get respite from the harsh sun.
Though it was a bit more busy that what I would have preferred, there is definitely beauty in appreciating things for as they are with good company and conversations. And one cannot complain about the pretty doors everywhere now, can then?
What was your favourite thing about the French Town in Pondi?

Memories from Fort Kochi...
I normally prefer taking it slow and long for the feeling of elongating the day in my life but especially when I travel.
Fort Kochi was special that way. Riding my bicycle around, going around beautiful places and having good food with nice people. For the few days I was here, I lived life the way I wanted my everyday to be.
Having @arul_anand_santha company just added to it all. Thank you for being there and making my Kochi experience better and lovely photographs to remember it by.
